THE MAGIC OF LIGHTING
Turtle & Hughes, together with Philips Lighting, has helped Macy’s become more energy-efficient in almost 50 stores in New York and New Jersey by replacing outdated standard fixtures with energy-efficient lighting and controls. This includes lamps, ballasts, reflectors and sensors. Nationwide, Macy’s has added more than 1.1 million LED lamps and has reduced its in-store electric consumption by more than 35 percent since 2002. At Macy’s and elsewhere, Turtle & Hughes Energy Management & Renewal Generation department implements a total energy conservation program and delivers turnkey installation.
