It is my sincere pleasure to unveil Turtle & Hughes 2009 Circle of Excellence customer travel award program. As in the past, qualification for this exclusive program is based on points assigned for each dollar that you spend with Turtle & Hughes during the established timeframe. Qualifying customers will be cocooned in luxury and style at the exquisite Sanctuary Cap Cana Resort in the Dominican Republic, for four fun-filled nights and five relaxing, sun-filled days.

But remember, the first thing you need to do is complete and return the enclosed registration card. This will both confirm your registration in the program and ensure that you receive on-going program communication. After that, the countdown to paradise begins!

The Sanctuary Cap Cana is situated on two miles of private, pristine beach and is located 8 miles from the Punta Cana International Airport. Guests will enjoy access to the Jack Nicklaus signature Punta Espada golf course, a superb marina with hundreds of slips for the spectacular yachts that moor at Cap Cana, along with designer boutiques, restaurants and a casino. Designed as a whimsical village, Sanctuary is a private world of very lucid dreams.

Qualification Criteria and Travel-Award Details

The qualification period for Turtle & Hughes 2009 Circle of Excellence is October 1, 2007 - December 31, 2008. All points earned are retroactive to October 1, 2007. The dates for the travel award to Cap Cana have been set for Sunday, March 29 through Thursday, April 2, 2009. No other dates can be substituted and the award cannot be exchanged for cash, merchandise, or products. The travel award is for two persons and includes roundtrip, coach-class airfare from your home city airport; transfers to and from the resort; four nights' accommodations based on double occupancy; and a variety of other special activities such as select meals, daytime excursions, cocktail receptions, and recreational experiences. All participants on the travel program must be at least 21 years of age.
To participate in the program, you must be the principal, owner, or senior manager of a company that actively conducts business with Turtle & Hughes. Each Registration Card must include an authorization signature of the appropriate highest-ranking executive or manager at your company.

How to Earn Points

For new customers to Turtle & Hughes qualification is based on a point system. One point equals US $1.00. To earn one travel award (for two persons) 400,000 points are required. A maximum of two travel awards (two couples) can be earned per account, for a total of 800,000 points.
For existing customers, points are earned based on incremental purchases above a base goal (formulated on historical data) that will be established for your account. The base goal must be reached before points can be accrued. (For example, if your base is established at $100,000, you must first reach this goal before you can start earning program points.)
For new customers, you must first establish a purchase base of $25,000 before points can be accrued.
Six vendors will be sponsoring this program. Up to 150,000 additional points can be earned by purchasing these vendors' products through stock with Turtle & Hughes. Up to 25,000 bonus points can be earned per vendor in order to reach 150,000 bonus points. These bonus points can only be earned toward one travel award (for two persons).
Your Account Manager will advise you of your base goal. So that you know how you are tracking, this information will be communicated to you on a periodic basis.

Additional Information

To qualify, your company must remain within Turtle & Hughes’ credit terms for the duration of the promotion period.
Turtle & Hughes reserves the right to change the dates and location of the travel award due to strikes, acts of God, environmental concerns, or any reason it deems necessary.
Turtle & Hughes assumes no liability for accidental death or injury, damage to property, delays in transportation, which may be sustained during the travel award, any or all of which may have been caused by misfeasance, nonfeasance, and/or failure to act by any person, firm, or organization.
All final decisions in regard to Turtle & Hughes’ Circle of Excellence remain vested with Suzanne T. Millard, President.
